LATE AT NIGHT...

You wake with a start in the dead of the night.

Wherever you were sleeping and whatever you were wrapped up in, you are chilled to the bone. It's colder, somehow, than when you were outside in the snow. Deathly cold. As you start to take in your surroundings, you catch sight of a pair of glowing red eyes.

A figure seems to materialize around them, holding a plate of cookies and a glass of milk. It offers them both to you, then speaks in a gravelly voice.

The figure stares directly at you, never once looking away, and holds up three clawed fingers. It seems to wait expectantly.

[Binghe is absolutely still wrapped around his waist and dead asleep, but unfortunately, even his body heat won't help at all. The cold is bone deep, painful. And in addition to the cold, Shen Qingqiu will realize he feels faint. His stomach is gnawing with hunger - it's hard to imagine how he didn't notice before, but it feels like he hasn't eaten in more than a week. The longer he waits, the stronger the feeling of freezing cold and starvation will grow, and the harder it will become to ignore those feelings.

Krampus continues to hold three fingers up.]

[ whoo boy look at the world spin when he sits up. but he frowns at the being and the plate before throwing caution into the wind and taking a cookie. look, he's lived in a world that cures come from the strangest places. he's not gonna judge if it comes in the form of milk and cookies this time.

[As he nibbles on the cookie, the intense hunger and cold starts to ease away - it doesn't vanish entirely, but it seems as though it's been tempered, just a little. The glass of milk sits there, waiting for him to drink it.]

but since it's clear it's a two part cure, he's reaching for the milk now, sipping on it while he thinks furiously. So they need to spill blood to be freed from this place. Okay. Bad, but workable. He's assuming that it won't take everyone dying to make this work but as long as Binghe is with the survivors it should be fine. ]

[Once he's both eaten the cookie and drank the milk, he'll feel better, as if he's managed to come in from the cold and warm himself by the fire. He feels stronger than he's felt since he arrived, too.]
